What holds it back is the paperwork. The 5,500+ PPB claim comes with no cycle length and no published hydrogen test, so there is no way to verify it, and the product page leans on structured water and Far Infrared concepts that are not part of accepted water chemistry.
Documentation is decent. Everything around it is not. No New Zealand or Australian entity, no cycle length, no published capacity, and a $289 flagship made of plastic.
A fault means posting the bottle to the United States at your own cost, with no local consumer-law recourse. The same site also claims 3,800 satisfied customers in one section and 54,680 in another.
$230 for 300ml — the dearest water per millilitre here — and its "independent testing" doesn't measure hydrogen at all.
Ionza's accredited July 2025 report is a food-contact safety test: heavy metals, migration, PAHs. Genuine, and it passed. It says nothing about hydrogen output, while sitting on a page that leads with hydrogen figures — and then claims "10 ppm" at unspecified durations, six times what water can physically hold.
The cheapest bottle here, and the only one that may not clear the threshold the research used. Its own stated range bottoms out at 750 PPB.
At the top of its 750–1,600 PPB range it reaches saturation. At the bottom it falls below the 1,000 PPB floor common across published studies, and neither figure is tied to a specific cycle.
$199 for 250ml. One glass of water, thirty dollars more than a 470ml bottle, and the brand recommends drinking it within the hour.
The 6,000 PPB headline arrives with no cycle length and no linked report — the site references third-party testing but publishes none. The range also includes a model sold on "bio resonance," which is not a recognised mechanism.

Water holds about 1,600 PPB of dissolved hydrogen at atmospheric pressure. That is Henry's Law, not a manufacturing limit. Going higher means pressurising a sealed chamber, which is what these bottles do — and water above saturation is unstable. The excess starts escaping the moment generation stops and leaves faster once the lid is off.
So a 6,000 PPB claim describes a reading taken inside a sealed vessel. Three sips later that water is heading back toward 1,600 PPB. Published human studies mostly used 1,000 to 1,600 PPB, and above that more is not better in any way a drinker experiences.
Which is why this ranking is not a leaderboard of PPB figures. What separates these bottles is whether the number was measured, how long the bottle ran to reach it, how much water you get for the money, and who answers when something breaks.
Review counts are the easiest number in this category to inflate and the hardest to check. More useful is what a brand leaves visible.
